Giving a zest of digitization, pilgrims can now access details of Kumbh Mela on website and social app

Lucknow, September 5: Leaving no stones unturned to get in the shoes of digitalization; India is seeping in each and every sector into the digital bracket. Adding another feather in the digital cap, the state of Uttar Pradesh has launched the Kumbh Mela website and social app for easy access. Union Minister of Railways Piyush Goyal and Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath jointly launched the website and social app on Tuesday.

The Kumbh Mela website 2019 will help the pilgrims and the tourist to attend the Kumbh Mela which is to be held on the banks of Sangam, Allahabad from January 15, 2019. The website www.kumbh.gov.in provides detail about location, trains, accessibility, weather and accommodations which will be a great help for pilgrims.

 

The Kumbh portal gives a brief detailed idea of the do’s and don’t during the Maha festival in Allahabad. The portal also informs the visitors about an emergency situation, traffic plan, lost and found the department, and disaster mitigation plan.

The Kumbh Mela portal is related to Prayagraj Mela Pradhikaran.

The Railway Minister Piyush Goyal asked officials to give a unique name to the special trains which will run on major Snaan days during Kumbh Mela and collect details of trains which would run from various states to Allahabad. He also directed official to use 100 racks of different trains for the promotion of Brand Kumbh.
