Pakistan-India shared lists of Nuclear installation

Islamabad, Jan 1: Pakistan exchanged the list of Nuclear installation and facilities to India. This exchange is under the provisions of bilateral agreements between India and Pakistan.

According to the statement of Pakistan Foreign office, the list was officially handed over to a representative of the Indian High Commission at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs in the accordance with Article-II of the Agreement on Prohibition of Attacks Against Nuclear Installations and Facilities between Pakistan and India signed on December 31, 1988.

India’s Ministry of External Affairs also handed over the list of Indian nuclear installations and facilities to Pakistan High Commission.

This has been done consecutively since January 1, 1992, the FO said.

This agreement signed on 31st December 1988, contains the provision that both countries notify each other of their nuclear installations and facilities on 1st January every year.
