Dehradun, January 10: Uttarakhand has shown a helping hand for its farmers as Chief Minister Trivendra Singh Rawat on Wednesday said farmers in the state will be given interest-free loans soon. CM Rawat said farmers are already getting loans at two per cent interest rate.

The Chief Minister also said two doppler radar will soon start functioning in the state to make precise weather warnings.

It will be easier for disaster management authorities and farmers to prepare themselves to deal with natural calamities. One Doppler radar each will become operational on Mussoorie-Chamba road (Surkanda) and Mukteshwar by June this year
