Balangir, Odisha, Jan 15: ‘Chaukidaar’ will punish everyone who stole money from poorest of poor”, the clarion call by PM Modi at the inauguration of developmental plans in Odisha.

For furthering “Ease of Living” for Odisha citizens, Central government launched many developmental projects in Odisha. PM Narendra Modi laid the foundation stone of these developmental projects in Balangir, Odisha.

 

Today, PM Modi inaugurated projects include 28.3-acre Multi-Model Logistics in Jharsuguda, Balangir-Bicchupali new rail line, Electrification of 813 Km of Jharsuguda-Vizianagaram and Sambalpur-Angul line, Doubling of Barapali-Daungaripali and Balangir -Deogoan road line, Bridge no. 588 between Therubali-Singapur road station, Passport Seva Kendras at Jagatsinpur, Kendra para, Puri, Kandhamal, Bergarh and Balangir and renovation and restoration work at Asurgadh Fort in Kalahandi.

He congratulated everyone for the inauguration of this projects and started his dialogue in the Oriya language.

He said, “With the ambitious plans for 2022, in the last three weeks, this is the third time, I am visiting Odisha. I bow in front of you for your love and affection.”

Further, he remembered all freedom fighters, saints, poets and social workers of Balangir region. He attacked Naxalites for their coward killing of innocent people. He said about the sacrifice of Achutanand Sahu, the young activist who is using the tv as a medium for showcasing realities of Odisha, “such sacrifices gave strength to our mission of eradication of violence from the region”. He further added this is a month of ‘Sun-worship’ and Odisha is a land of Sun. the light from Konark illuminating India for centuries, and in this holy month, we launched and inaugurating developmental projects worth of more than 20,000 crores in Odisha for the overall development of the state.

He stated, “These projects will create developed and “New Odisha”.

While addressing the issues of development in Odisha, he attacked dynastical politics. He said, “commoners know the importance of development, but these dynasties are blind with their own interest.”

He said, “We are working for preservation of our heritage. We started programmes for beautification and renovation of historical places with modern techniques. There was a time when sculptures were stolen from temples. Today we are making efforts to bring them back from other countries.”

He added, “It is our solemn vow to propagate and promote Indian ancient wisdom to the world.”

He stated that India has strength to create opportunities in heritage tourism. The central government is working for the growth of connectivity in Odisha which will opportunities for employment.

He said the ‘Chaukidaar’ will not take a single breath until he punishes everyone who does the crimes against commoners.

Addressing contribution of Odisha in sports, he said, “Odisha always gave sports talent to the country. We are developing rapidly in sports, we are on the path of becoming the “Sports Power” in world.”

He announced special sports complexes for tribal areas of Odisha.

He said, “We will shine with our rapid development and progress. This is our era, this is our age, we just need consistent and solid work toward our aim.”
