PM Modi inaugurates Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Gujarat

Ahmedabad, January 17: Prime Minister Narendra Modi on a three day visit to Gujarat inaugurated the Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show at the Mahatma Mandir Exhibition cum Convention Center in Gandhinagar followed by the inauguration of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Medical Sciences and Research in Ahmedabad.
 
The ninth edition of Vibrant Gujarat Global Trade Show showcases more than 25 industrial and business sectors under one umbrella. Heads of five countries and over 30,000 national and international delegates, including CEOs of major companies from India and abroad, are expected to attend the 9th edition of the summit, scheduled from 18 to 20 January.
 
 
Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel Institute of Medical Sciences and Research, located in Ahmedabad is a state of art, super-speciality public hospital built by Ahmedabad Municipal Corporation (AMC) and is equipped with all modern amenities, including an air ambulance. The 78 metre high structure is a true blend of skill, scale and speed. In keeping with the spirit of Digital India, the institute is a completely paperless hospital.
On January 19, Modi is scheduled to visit Hazira industrial area near Surat as well as Silvassa, the capital of the neighbouring Union Territory of Dadra and Nagar Haveli, according to the statement. The PM will visit Hazira in Surat to mark the setting up of the Hazira Gun Factory. From Hazira, he will go to Silvassa to inaugurate as well as to lay foundation stone for various projects, the release said.
