KT Rama Rao calls on Jagan; YSR Congress to support KCR’s Federal front

Hyderabad, Jan 17: Ahead of the crucial 2019 Lok Sabha election and Andhra Pradesh assembly polls, Telangana Rashtra Samithi Working President KT Rama Rao on Wednesday called on YSR Congress Chief YS Jagan Mohan Reddy here. The former IT Minister also Congratulated Jagan for the successful completion of 3,650 km long Padayatra.

Speaking to the media after the two-hour long deliberations, Rao said that YSR support will strengthen the federal front initiative of K. Chandrashekar Rao. He informed that KCR will personally meet Jagan to finalize the future agenda.

Taking a dig at national parties, KTR stated that like-minded parties should join hands to safeguard the interest of the people. He went on saying that both NDA and UPA fronts have failed miserably to address the vital issues. The former Minister opined that the center should grant the promised Special Category Status (SCS) to Andhra Pradesh.

Calling K. Chandrashekar Rao a well-wisher of Andhra Pradesh, Jagan said that both regional forces will play a crucial role in the upcoming general election. The YSR Chief also thanked TRS leader K Kavitha for her support towards the Special Category Status demand of Andhra Pradesh.
