Mumbai, January 21: “The grand alliance is nothing but alliance of corruption, negativity and instability. The oppositions have created an alliance amongst themselves, while BJP is in alliance with 1.25 crore sea of people. We are committed to serve the masses. They have power in terms of money while we have the mass power. While they have to save their families, we are here to build a robust nation”, assured PM Modi taking a dig at opposition’s show in a discourse with the booth workers from Maharashtra and South Goa yesterday.

Each political party aims to win over the elections, but the means to achieve the same are inappreciable. The oppositions have already started curbing and targeting the EVM machines. These probably take the voters for granted. This is a similar to any precarious play ruining the nation and people’s trust.

Stressing the farmer’s distress underway in the nation, PM asserted that NDA governments at the Centre and Maharashtra have undertaken record number of initiatives for the farmers. On the contrary, Congress and NCP’s notable contribution was irrigation scam and total apathy towards farmers. He has been interacting with party workers from different places of the country through 'Namo App' under 'Mera booth, Sabse Mazboot' programme for the last few months.

Prime Minister said the BJP worker denotes sacrifice, commitment, hard work, social service & patriotism and that people have a good opinion about BJP workers as they connect with common man. He added that people trust BJP workers as they stand with them through thick & thin. “Because of the previous governments, political workers are usually known as ‘dalaal’ (middleman) among common public. However, our workers are known as Maa Bharti Ke Laal”, he said.

“As far as the issue of mining in Goa is concerned, the Centre, State Government and BJP MPs from the state are looking at all possible ways to solve the matter. BJP will always safeguard the rights and wellbeing of the poor”, he said citing the mining issues upraised in Goa. Talking about the Government's decision to give 10 per cent reservation belonging to economically weaker sections in General category, Modi said the Opposition parties would not have been so anxious if this decision was not effective.

PM Modi also wished for speedy recovery of Goa CM Manohar Parrikar and said, “I pray that my dear friend Manohar Ji, popular CM of Goa and architect of modern Goa, recovers soon. He is working even in this condition and his passion towards work is inspirational for us.”
