Una, Jan 28: BJP president Amit Shah addressed a Panna Pramukh Sammelan in Himachal Pradesh’s Una. BJP President Amit Shah said, Himachal Pradesh is one of the states, Soldiers are very active in the defence. Himachal Jawan is always ready to sacrifice his life for the nation.
It is a priority of the government that to take care of the Jawans and their families in the Himachal Pradesh. We promised One Rank One Pension for soldiers. We have completed that promise within one year of Narendra Modi Government. Around 8000 crore rupees have been transferred to Bank accounts of retired serving persons. 44235 crore of rupees had been given before but the Modi government has given 1 lakh 15 thousand 865 crores of rupees have been given to Himachal for the development.

What is Panna Pramukh?
Under Panna Pramukh model, the party appoints a pramukh (or prabhari) who is given a list (Panna, literally page) of names of 8-12 families. Each pramukh is asked to focus on these families to create a larger voter base.
