Jhakaas Anil Kapoor says learning and observing new generation actors is the key to his longevity

Mumbai, January 29: “In my career of 40 years, I may not have earned money like other actors but have managed to build a ‘solid goodwill’ in the industry”, veteran actor Anil Kapoor was speaking at a special event of his upcoming film "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga". The actor also unveiled the second trailer of his upcoming film.

 

After working on "Parinda" in 1989 and "1942: A Love Story" in 1994 together, Anil Kapoor and producer Vidhu Vinod Chopra are teaming up with "Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga". “I've worked with Vinod in two films before and it doesn't feel it has been so many years. We have been in touch with each other. I've attended premier of his films, even if I'm not in them. We have had that bond”, said the actor.

Anil Kapoor will be featured in the film along with daughter Sonam K Ahuja, veteran actress Juhi Chawla and 2018’s breakthrough actor Rajkumar Rao.

 

"Sonam teaches me everything. She is so brilliant, honest, full of love, generosity, grace, dignity, intelligence. So I keep taking these things from her. I'm being honest”, said Kapoor expressing his excitement of working with daughter Sonam.

Sharing his experience of working with the new age actor Rajkumar for the second time, Kapoor said, “It is very important to learn from youngsters. When Rajkumar talks, I observe him and learn. I think one of the reasons for my longevity is that I'm a good listener. I listen to people. I listen, I observe and take all the good things”.

"Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga" is scheduled to release on February 1.

 

Meanwhile, Anil Kapoor will also be seen in “Total Dhamaal” opposite Madhuri Dixit which releases on February 22. The film also features Ajay Devgn, Sanjay Mishra, Riteish Deshmukh, Arshad Warsi, Javed Jaffrey. The song “Paisa Yeh Paisa” from the film dropped on the internet this afternoon already hitting loads of views and likes.
