NIA arrests arms smuggler Nayeem from Meerut, UP

Meerut, January 4: In Uttar Pradesh, National Investigation Agency (NIA) has arrested an arms smuggler Nayeem from Meerut yesterday. Superintendent of Police for rural area in Meerut, Rajesh Kumar told AIR that the wanted Nayeem was arrested from Radhna Village last night.

 

He said Nayeem is accused of arms supply to terrorist groups. He told NIA sleuths have taken Nayeem with them for further interrogation. The agency several times earlier had raided Nayeem's premises but failed.

Nayeem is accused of getting arms to people and also linked to terrorist organizations. However, Nayeem is refuting the allegations and is requesting justice through releasing his video. On the other hand NIA investigation has found Nayeem in the supply of weapons. After which his arrest is being considered.
