San-Francisco, Feb 12: In order to enhance the services related to smart home devices, e-commerce giant Amazon has decided to acquire Eero, a startup company and a leading player in the field of home router manufacturing.
In an official statement, Amazon informed about the definitive merger agreement with Eero to provide high-performing, reliable, and simple home WiFi services to the consumers.
As quoted by TechCrunch, this deal will help Amazon in building better eco-system for smart home devices. Founded in 2014, Eero, a San-Francisco based mesh router producing firm is famous for its home wifi system module.
