Chandra Babu misleading people, Centre committed to AP’s development: BJP leader Daggubati Purandeswari

Vijayawada, Feb 13: Senior BJP leader and former Union Minister Daggubati Purandeswari on Tuesday said that only because of political compulsion, Andhra Pradesh state government is not acknowledging the assistance provided by the BJP led Central government.

Speaking to the media, Purandeswari claimed that many developmental schemes like PMAY, Chandranna Bima and other infrastructure projects in rural areas are being funded by the Central government. On this occasion, the senior BJP leader expressed displeasure over the TDP sponsored Protest against Prime Minister Narendra Modi during his Guntur rally.

Taking exception to state government's allegation over Polavaram national irrigation Project, the senior BJP leader told that TDP leaders are twisting facts on  Polavaram just to hide their failures.  “ completion of 65 percent work itself exposes the hollow claims of the state government as Polavaram is a national project fully funded by the center ” said Purandeswari.

On Kadapa Steel Plant, Purandeswari blamed TDP government for not responding to the vital issues raised by the center. when asked about Vizag railway zone, she informed that Railway Ministry after addressing the concerns of Odisha government will take the final call on the prestigious project. The former Union Minister also underlined that the stubborn approach of state government has stalled key projects like Kadapa steel plant, Dugarajapatnam Port and Vizag railway zone.
