For outstanding road safety regime, Union Minister Nitin Gadkari conferred with Global NCAP’s Innovation Award

New Delhi, Feb 13: Applauding India’s efforts in improving road safety, Global New Car Assessment Program (GNCAP), on Tuesday gave away the prestigious Innovation Award to Union Surface Trasport Minister Nitin Gadkari.
Representatives of Global New Car Assessment Program called on Gadkari and presented the prestigious award. The officials also appreciated the Indian government's work in spreading awareness about the importance of road safety.
Global NCAP, a U.K. based platform recently launched a programme called SaferCarsForIndia for the promotion of road safety. The international forum works towards the implementation and promotion of United Nation’s motor vehicle safety standards.
