New Delhi, Feb 14: Bharat Ratna and Former President Pranab Mukherjee will release a book “Selected Speeches: Volume-1” a compilation of public speeches delivered by Vice President M. Venkaiah Naidu. On February 15, the book unveiling ceremony will be held at Vigyan Bhavan.
In this book, selected 92 speeches under six different categories such as ‘Functioning of Legislatures’, ‘Nation and Nationalism’, ‘Polity and Governance’, ‘Economic Development’, ‘Media’ and ‘India and the World’ have been included. After assuming the office, Vice President Venkaiah Naidu took part in more than 400 meetings and held several interactive sessions with people from all walks of life.
On this occasion, Union Minister Rajyavardhan Singh Rathore, Rajya Sabha Deputy Chairman Harivansh, senior Congress leader and RS Leader of Opposition Ghulam Nabi Azad and other dignitaries will grace the book launch ceremony.
