KAJU India 2019.. Setting a gateway to the Indian Cashew Industry..!

New Delhi, February 14: “It is our endeavour to make India an increasing self-sufficient Kaju producing country. For this, it is important to establish fully automated common processing units in cashew growing centres”, said Commerce Minister Suresh Prabhu while addressing the sea of masses at the inauguration of the 6th edition of KAJU India 2019.

 

Prabhu was also attending the Centenary celebrations of the Indian Cashew Exports & the Global Cashew Summit meanwhile where over 900 cashew importers & exporters met today. The Global Cashew Summit in New Delhi heads from 13th to 15th February 2019.

Addressing the intellectuals, the minister recommended the formation of an organisation amongst the cashew producing countries for effective utilization & mobilization of resources, to improve the cashew economy & promote its rapid development.

India is one of the fastest growing economies of the world and is currently the focus of great deals of international attention. As the world's largest producer, processor and consumer of cashew, the Indian cashew industry is geared up to face any challenges and in the fore front to define the future of the world cashew scenario.

With more and more health-conscious consumers moving away from junk foods and preferring healthier and natural food, cashew still continues to be the most favorite choice. India was keen on offering only safe and quality products to the world, in spite of all the challenges in the global cashew industry, branding the Indian Cashew the most preferred in the race.

The Trade Expo associated with it, provides an excellent brand mileage for the exhibitors. The machinery exhibition is perhaps unique for the Kaju India series alone where latest processing machineries and technologies are on live demonstration.
