New Delhi, February 15: Reeling under the tremors of terror attacks, Afghanistan has shown its complete support to India in its quest to fight against terrorism. The Pulwama Terror Attack in Kashmir on Thursday is one of the dastardliest attacks on CRPF jawans by JeM backed by Pakistan.

Close ally, Afghanistan who has been a victim of terrorism itself has outwardly extended support to India and strongly condemned the terror attack on CRPF Jawans in Pulwama on Thursday. In a statement by Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan, it stated that the nation strongly condemns the recent terrorist attack that took place in Jammu and Kashmir of India.

It further added that the Islamic Republic of Afghanistan expresses its condolences and sympathy with the people and government of the friendly country India due to the loss of 40 Indian Police, and once again stresses the need for solidarity and closer cooperation of countries in the fight against this common enemy.

Afghanistan has witnessed the deadliest terrorist attacks and the country understands the loss of lives and has been with India throughout the fight against terrorism. Combining efforts of India and Afghanistan has helped each other in combating terrorism and strengthened bilateral ties.

India earlier slammed Pakistan by rubbishing Pakistan’s contention that India has “no role” in Afghanistan, and made it clear that Islamabad could not decide the position of another country in regional or global affairs. MEA spokesperson Raveesh Kumar had said that it is not for Pakistan to decide as to what role another country has in regional or global affairs. Pakistan also cannot decide on behalf of an independent and sovereign country, Afghanistan, and dictate to them as to how to conduct their foreign policy.
