New Delhi, February 15: Despicable and heinous, the Kashmir terror attack has triggered the anger among millions condemning the dreadful attack. As the entire world mourns with India and extends strong support to fight against terrorism, India hits at Pakistan to stop sponsoring terrorist activities by backing terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad. India hinted a strong message to Pakistan and China after the Pulwama attack in Jammu and Kashmir that killed over 40 Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) men.

Jaish-e-Mohammad is a terror outfit backed by Pakistan who identified the suicide bomber to be their member.

Slamming Pakistan for its support to terrorism, the Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) in a statement said, "We demand that Pakistan stop supporting terrorists and terror groups operating from their territory and dismantle the infrastructure operated by terrorist outfits to launch attacks in other countries"

The statement added, “this terror group Jaish-e-Mohammad is led by the international terrorist Masood Azhar, who has been given full freedom by Government of Pakistan to operate and expand his terror infrastructure in territories under the control of Pakistan and to carry out attacks in India and elsewhere with impunity.”

Without taking China's name India called on the member of the International community to list Jaish-e-Mohammed Chief Masood Azhar under the 1267 sanctions committee of United Nation security council (UNSC).

MEA said, "We strongly reiterate our appeal to all members of the international community to support the proposal to list terrorists, including JeM Chief Masood Azhar, as a designated terrorist under the 1267 Sanctions Committee of the UN Security Council and to ban terrorist organisations operating from territories controlled by Pakistan. "

India along with Afghanistan, Bhutan, Bangladesh, Sri Lanka, the Maldives had boycotted the 19th SAARC Summit in Islamabad after the 2016 Uri attacks. In February 2016, India had approached the UN Security Council Sanctions Committee with the proposal to designate Masood Azhar under the 1267 sanction regime.

China repeatedly blocked listing of Masood Azhar as an internationally designated terrorist under the UNSC 1267 Committee. While the US, UK and France backed India's bid, China continued to block it.
