#PulwamaAttack: US backs India, directs Pakistan to end support of all terrorist groups operating in its soil

Washington, February 15: Raising a strong reaction on the worst dreadful attack, USA stood by India condemning strongly the terrorist attack occurred on Thursday on an Indian Central Reserve Police Force convoy in the state of Jammu and Kashmir. In a statement issued by the White House, the US expressed its anger through words.



The statement reads, “The United States is resolutely committed to working with the Indian government to combat terrorism in all its forms. The UN designated, Pakistan-based terrorist group Jaish-e-Muhammad has claimed responsibility for this heinous act. We call on all countries to uphold their responsibilities pursuant to UN Security Council resolutions to deny safe haven and support for terrorists.”

“We express our deep condolences to the victims' families, the Indian government, and the Indian people for the loss of life in this brutal attack. The United States calls on Pakistan to end immediately the support and safe haven provided to all terrorist groups operating on its soil, whose only goal is to sow chaos, violence, and terror in the region. This attack only strengthens our resolve to bolster counterterrorism cooperation and coordination between the United States and India.”
