Our Jawans will decide the fate of terrorists who attacked Pulwama, affirms Modi

Mumbai, February 16: “The terror attack in Pulwama was very disastrous and the sacrifices of the martyrs who lost their lives within, will not go in vain. Terrorist organizations, who have committed the guilt, will not be spared. They will be punished. The anger in the soldiers, and especially in the CRPF, is felt by the nation as well. So the security forces have been given freedom to decide the plan of action further. They will now decide the deal way ahead against Pakistan”, confirmed PM Modi while addressing the sea of people at Yavatmal in Maharashtra on Saturday.

 
“I know what all of us are going through deep pain. I understand your resentment about what happened in Pulwama. Here, two heroes of Maharashtra have sacrificed their lives in Pulwama. The families who have lost their red, I can experience their pain”, he said adding that now forces will decide the time, place and plan of the retaliation.
He added that Pakistan is on the verge of getting indebted. “Along with the security of nation, our government is also fully committed for the prosperity of the country. The base of nation’s development lies at providing education to the children, employment to youth, medical facilities to age olds, resolving farmer’s distress and emphasizing on the public hearing”, he said.
With the crowd cheering Modi-Modi-Modi, he while in Yavatmal inaugurated Eklavya Model Residential School, at Nanded having a total capacity of 420 students with the state of the art facilities. The school will help in improving quality of education amongst tribal students and also provide an avenue for their overall growth and personal development.
Further in presence of Maharashtra CM Devendra Fadnavis, Modi handed over the keys to selected beneficiaries for the e-Gruh Pravesh of houses constructed under Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana (PMAY). He further flaged-off Ajni (Nagpur)- Pune Train through video link. The train comprises of three tier air conditioned coaches and will provide overnight service between Nagpur and Pune. The foundation stone of roads under central road fund (CRF) were also laid through the press of button.
PM also gave away the certificates cheques under Maharashtra State Rural Livelihoods Mission (MSRLM) to women SHGs. MSRLM aims at social mobilization towards financial inclusion which help in ensuring farm and non-farm livelihoods opportunity through facilitation of door-step delivery of financial services.
“It is through PM Kisan Mandir Nidhi, that the government has planned to provide direct financial help to the farmers. Under this, 6 thousand rupees will be deposited every year in the bank accounts of those farmers who have less than 5 acres of land. By this about 12 crore farmers of Maharashtra will get direct benefits”, Modi added stressing at the farmer’s issue overall. “Last time I came here, the farmers had a long conversation with the society. Today, I want to assure that in the recent budget, along with the farmers' society, people of circle, workers, big plans have been announced for all these amid”, he added.
PM later visited Dhule inaugurating Lower Panazara medium Project under PMKSY. The project was included in Pradhan Mantri Krishi Sinchan Yojana (PMKSY) in 2016-17. It has a total water storage capacity of 109.31 MCum with Irrigation Potential of 7585 hectares benefitting about 21 villages of Dhule district.
 
Being lauded by the masses present, Modi announced that the support price given by the government on forest produce has been increased three times in the last 4 to 5 years. The crops in the scope of MSP are extended by the government. “Where the MSP was found on 10 yields from the forest four and a half years ago, now the number has increased to almost 50”, he added.
PM laid foundation stone of Sulwade Jamphal Kanoli Lift Irrigation Scheme. This scheme envisages lifting 9.24 TMC of flood water from river Tapi in 124 days of monsoon season. It is proposed to irrigate 33367 hectares area of about 100 villages of Dhule district.
