Mumbai, February 19: An alliance of 30 years has been re-ignited and re-imagined for the nation and the state of Maharashtra. CM Devendra Fadnavis, Shivsena head Uddhav Thackeray and BJP president Amit Shah addressed the issues of Ram Mandir, Farmers and rural & urban Maharashtra at large while greeting each other buoyantly of the alliance in Maharashtra ahead of the LokSabha elections on Monday.

“We are with the People's Republic of the Nanar Project. We will go ahead and move forward to the development. When we say Ram Rajya, Ram temple is bound to be done, Shivsena insists on it. Although the government has made declaration of debt relief to the farmers, but the involvements in the systems make farmers the victims. Unconscious parties are coming together to defeat the Shiv Sena and the BJP”, said Shivena leader Uddhav Thackeray

Expressing the joy of alliance, PM Narendra Modi also lauded the move saying, “Inspired by the vision of Atal Ji and Balasaheb Thackeray Ji, BJP-Shiv Sena alliance will continue working for the well-being of Maharashtra and ensuring the state once again elects representatives who are development oriented, non corrupt and proud of India’s cultural ethos”.
“Our association with the ShivSena goes beyond politics. We are bound by a desire to see a strong and developed India. The decision to contest together strengthens the NDA significantly. I am sure our alliance is going to be Maharashtra’s first and only choice!”, he added significantly.
Also the CM of Maharashtra Devendra Fadnavis merrily said, “We all karyakratas are glad that BJP and ShivSena has once again decided to play a nationalist role in the interest of nation, citizens & farmers, towards commitment for development and to strengthen hands to elect our Hon PM Narendra Modi ji to lead our great Nation yet again!”
For the coming Lok Sabha elections, ShivSena will contest 23 seats and BJP will be contesting 25 seats. Furthermore for State both the parties will fight an equal number of seats and irrespective of seats won, will share power and posts of equal time as government. Meanwhile, the proposal of having no property tax for all houses under 500 sq ft in Mumbai and Thane will be approved by the State Government immediately and other proposals for urban planning and development too will be moved.
