February 19: Condemning the Pulwama terror attack that claimed the lives of more than 40 CRPF troopers last week, actors from upcoming film ‘Total Dhammal’ announced that the film will not be released in Pakistan.

Actor-Producer Ajay Devgan, who was among the celebrities from Bollywood to show deep grief for the convoy in Kashmir, made the announcement on twitter on Monday followed by a tweet by co-star Riteish Deshmukh.

The worst ever terror attack, much like the one in Uri in 2016, has impacted cultural ties between the two nations as the Federation of Western India Cine Employees (FWICE) in India on Sunday said filmmakers will not be allowed to release their films in Pakistan after the dastardly attack.

All India Cine Workers Association also announced a total ban on Pakistani actors and artists working in the film industry.

Directed by Indra Kumar, ‘Total Dhamaal’ is the third installment of the successful franchise ‘Dhamaal’, featuring an ensemble cast of Ajay Devgan, Anil Kapoor, Madhuri Dixit-Nene, Arshad Warsi, Riteish Deshmukh, Javed Jaffrey and Boman Irani.

The film, collaboration between Ajay Devgn FFilms and Fox Star Studios, will release in India on February 22.
