Several celebrities from Bollywood and cricket industry, who had also declared their deep grief for the Pulwama Terror attack earlier, again came to the forefront to salute the IAF for avenging the dreadful attack.

Giving a befitting reply which the entire nation waited for, in just 21 minutes, atleast 12 mirage of 2000 Indian Fighter jets struck JeM terrorist camp across the LoC and completely destroyed it today. Around 200 to 300 terrorists have been slayed by the Indian Army, 12 days after the ghastly Pulwama terror attack.

Praising PM Narendra Modi and Indian Air Force, celebrities such as Akshay Kumar, Paresh Rawal, Ajay Devgn, Abhishek Bachchan, Virendra Sehwag, Gautam Gambhir and many others tweeted in support of this bold move.

The Air Strikes have filled up the trends list on Twitter today with hashtags #SurgicalStrike2, #IndianAirForce and #IndiaStrikeBack being some of the top trends.

In September 2016, after the attack on the Uri base camp also, the army had carried out surgical strikes on seven terrorist launch pads across the LoC for which, the film ‘Uri: The Surgical Strike’ was created and was hailed by Indian audience. Film’s protagonist Vicky Kaushal also tweeted, “Salute to the #IndianAirForce and our Intelligence Department. #IndianStrikesBack. Jai Hind”.

Here’s hoping we get to see similarly spectacular film about the heroic Air Strikes too!
