Prime Minister Narendra Modi urged every Indian, ‘ If you are undertaking any innovative voter awareness campaign, do share details using #VoteKar. Together, we will ensure maximum Indians exercise their franchise.


 

Prime Minister Narendra Modi Sunday appealed to prominent personalities from different fields to inspire people to vote in the Lok Sabha elections. 

“My fellow Indians, The time has come to say- #VoteKar. In the upcoming Lok Sabha elections, ensure that you as well as your family and friends turn out in record numbers. Your doing so will have a positive impact on the nation’s future.” Urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Twitter.


In a series of tweets, Mr Modi also reached out to prominent personalities and asked them to appeal to people to vote in large numbers. He urged people to share the details of any innovative voter awareness campaign they are undertaking by using #VoteKar.


Prime Minister urged journalists that, today a large number of youngsters consume news on the move.

Vikram Chandra, Rajesh Kalra and Abhijit Majumder, It’s time to motivate them to #VoteKar to ensure a better tomorrow.

Indian youngsters are always in love for cricket, PM pressed that cricketers should urge people for voting.


“It would be wonderful if Sweta SinghAT, Debjani Ghosh and Chitraaum devote time and energy towards boosting voter turnout in the upcoming Parliamentary elections. Tell the people of India- #VoteKar.” He said in his tweets to create publicity for the voter awareness campaign.


Noted athletes should take lead as PM says “HimaDas, Dipa Karmakar and SakshiMalik, India is proud of you and you inspire many other youngsters. Now, it is time to inspire greater voter awareness and participation, especially among youngsters. #VoteKar”
