Problems faced by Manipur are the problems of the nation: RSS Chief
Imphal, Dec 12: Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat said that problems faced by Manipur people are part of the nation and should be shared by the people of the country.
Urging people to join RSS to understand it, Dr Bhagwat proudly said that the RSS has produced stalwarts like Prime Minister and others who are running the country efficiently.
King Leishemba Sanajaoba, who was present in the function, said that the immediate need of Manipur was the reintroduction of the Inner Line Permit system.
He also said that for the sake of posterity, the Armed Forces (Special Posers) Act 1958 should be repealed and the territorial integrity of Manipur protected.
Mohan Bhagwat left for Kolkata after 4 days of tour in Manipur.
Meanwhile, Bhagwat will be visiting Odisha on a five-day tour, starting from December 11 and will be there till December 15.
The RSS chief will be staying in the Odisha till December 15 during which he is scheduled to review the organisational work of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangha in eastern region comprising Odisha, West Bengal, Sikkim and Andaman and Nicobar islands.
