Hebbal, (Bengaluru) Jan 17: Nearly 630 under-14 Kishor (Young) Swayamsevaks attended a unique gathering ‘Kishor Sangama’ at Hebbal in Bengaluru last week on January 11.
The Kishor Sangama event was held as a part of birth centenary celebrations of late Yadava Rao Joshi, who devoted his life to the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) as fulltime Pracharak. The Late Joshi became an RSS member at youngest age of 8, and later pioneered the Sangh works in Karnataka as full time pracharak.
RSS Pranth Pracharak CR Mukunda addressed the gathering. BM Nandeesh, C.E.O of Aditya Engineering College presided over. RSS Bengaluru Mahanagar Karyavah KS Sreedhar was present.
Two simultaneous route marches (Path Sanchalan) were held on the occasion. Later swayamsevaks demonstrated spectacular physical exercises including Niyuddha, Native Games, Yogasana, Danda Prayog, Danda Vyayam, Upavishta Vyayam, and Surya Namaskar. Also, swayamsevaks chanted the 12th chapter of Bhagavadgeeta,.
Nearly 450 citizens participated in the event, observed and applauded the young swayamsevaks for their active involvement in RSS shakhas on a daily basis.
