Hyderabad, February 19: Legendary film producer Daggubati Ramanaidu (79) passed away in Hyderabad on Wednesday after fighting for a prolong time with cancer. Many celebs from the Indian entertainment industry have paid their tributes to legendary film-maker.
Father of noted film hero, D. Venkatesh and grandfather of upcoming actor, Rana. Ramanaidu established the well-known film house Suresh Productions, named after his elder son.
Prime Minister Narendra Modi also paid his tribute on twitter and consoled his family on producer’s sad demise.

Andhra Pradesh and Telangana Governor E.S.L Narasimhan, has conveyed his condolences at the demise of the noted film producer. Telangana Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao consoled the untimely demise of Daggubati Ramanaidu.
Various celebs from south Indian film industry including Kamal Haasan, Asin, Ram Pothineni, Taapsee Pannu, Trisha Krishnan among others have expressed their condolences.
The late south producer Ramanaidu is the recipient of Dada Saheb Phalke Award for lifetime achievement in 2009 and also Padma Bhushan in 2012 in recognition of his contribution to Indian cinema.
Ramanaidu also holds the Guinness Book of World Records for producing most number of films by an individual. He has produced more than 150 films in 13 languages.
