Bharatpur (Rajasthan), Feb 23: “The present time is very favourable for RSS. We must utilise this opportunity to organise and consolidate the Hindu society honouring each one’s faith”, said Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohan Bhagwat.

Bhagwat who arrived here on a tour to Rajasthan, was addressing the valedictory session of a five-day workshop of RSS activists at Lohagarh Stadium. Swayamsevaks from Bharatpur division attended the conclave.

He said that the preset time was very favourable for our work. The situations are on our side. There can be no better chance for all of us to get engaged in our mission of making Mother India the leader of the world.

Bhagwat said that the mission of consolidating Hindu society should be accorded the top priority taking it as our avowed mission. Let us take a vow in presence of the sacred ‘Bhagwa dhwaj’ to unite the Hindu society rising above the narrow and parochial boundaries of caste, creed, high and low, educated and illiterates etc. and unite the society on the basis of brotherhood and harmony honouring the faiths of all.

He said that the RSS was such a informal school of ‘sanskars’ where men with character, values and integrity were made. Reiterating the Mother India was the mother of all of us, he said that our culture was quintessentially Hindu culture and the RSS’ mission was to protest and preserve this ‘Sanatana Sanskriti’. He urged the participants to work on the principle of unity in diversity.

Making the RSS workers feel proud the Sarsanghchalak said “Our swayamsevaks are always the first to reach to the rescue and help of the affected people before the army or police could reach. Our swayamsevaks work selflessly because he has been trained in such a way that he offers his services to the nation and society sans any return. Similar qualities need to be developed in all the citizens of the country”, he added.

The RSS, Bhagwat said, is a unique organization in the world as “our organization is a disciplined entity and proud of devotion to our motherland”. Giving example of Israel that achieved freedom an year later than India, Bhagwat said that the people of AIsrael did not resist successfully all the aggressions but transformed their country into a land of plenty by converting the desert into a fertile land by sheer dint of their labour. Similarly, we have to strive for making India a world leader, he said.
