New Delhi, Mar 5: Rashtriya Sewa Bharti, an umbrella body of all the service organizations run by Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) will be organizing the second Rashtriya Sewa Sangam from April 4-6, 2015 at New Delhi.
This was informed by RSS Akhil Bharatiya Sewa Pramukh Sureshrao Hiremath at a press conference here the other day.
Interacting with the press persons Hiremath said that the event will witness a gathering of over 3000 social activists associated with Rashtriya Sewa Bharti. They will be representing over 800 social service organizations engaged in redeeming the solemn and benign dream of “Samras Bharat Samarth Bharat”. The unique feature of this event will be presence of over 500 women activists representing the impeccable ‘Nari Shakti’.
The first Rashtriya Sewa Sangam was held in 2010 a Bangalore, Hiremath informed.
The 2nd Sewa Sangam will be held at Blue Safire & City Palace Resort, GT Karnal Road, Alipur ,NH-1 ,Delhi. The premises will be renamed as “Samrasta Nagar” for the event.
The primary objective of the Rastriya Sewa Sangam is to offer a bird’s eye view of the various social service organizations that are playing a pivotal role in bringing about a decisive change in the socio-cultural fabric of the nation. This event will offer tremendous motivation and build confidence amongst the participants through the ocean of information about the role of Rastriya Sewa Bharti in transforming India, bringing the masses in contact with the towering national leaders and social workers.
The presence of large number of opinion builders and decision makers will also be a catalyst in mobilizing masses to serve the nation with a missionary zeal. In nutshell, the 2nd National Sewa Sangam will transform the dream of ‘Samras Bharat, Samrath Bharat’. This will encourage the activists to take the national pledge and devote them to accomplish the goals & objectives of integrating the entire nation.
The inauguration of this unique event will be blessed by venerated Mata Amritanandamayi with renowned industrialist and businessman Atul Gupta on April 4 at 10 am. At 5 pm on the same day, Sarkaryawah of RSS Suresh alias Bhayyaji Joshi will enlighten the participants on the social issues & concerns.
On 5tn April at 10.30 am a public programme will be graced by 500 eminent national leaders. The valedictory address will be delivered by RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr Mohanrao Bhagwat. Chairman of WIPRRO, Azim Premji will grace the concluding function.
The concluding function will be held on April 6, 2015 at 11 am where RSS Sah-Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale will address the participants motivating them to serve the neglected sections of the society anywhere, any time.
During the three-day congregation interactive programs will be held where the participants will have threadbare discussions on various aspects of social service and raising financial resources for them. The experience of volunteers from Rashtriya Sewa Bharti will be the one of the major attractions for the participants to inspire them to march on the path of fulfilment of its cherished dream of ‘Samras Bharat- Samarth Bharat’ with redefined thrust.
The exclusive exhibition of photographs of projects and audio-visual presentation highlighting the giant strides taken by various units associated with Rashtriya Sewa Bharati in multifarious activities. This exhibition will be inaugurated by Rajeshrashram ji Maharaj.
Today, Rastriya Sewa Bharti is one of the India’s frontline community service-driven, non-government organization, which is embedded with patriotic and nationalist values & virtues, being percolated to the last mile beneficiary.
