Jalgaon, Jan 6: The two-day all India coordination meeting of Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) began at Ahimsa Teerth Gaushala near Jalgaon from today.

Addressing the mediamen on the eve of the meeting RSS Akhil Bharatiya Prachar Pramukh Dr Manmohan Vaidya said that RSS conducts three major meetings in an year viz. Akhil Bharatiya Pratinidhi Sabha (ABPS) in March, Akhil Bharatiya Karykari Mandal (ABKM) meeting before the Diwali festival and Prant Pracharak meeting after the summer training camps.

In addition to these meetings, the RSS conducts two coordination meetings in September and January which is being held in Jalgaon here.

This meeting is attended by national office-bearers of RSS and main activists of allied organizations. These activists tour the country and meet different people from various walks of social life. They make their assessment of the situation in their respective fields of activity. These meetings are held with the primary objective of exchange of their experiences, assessments and readings.

Dr Vaidya said that no policy decisions are taken in such meetings but to facilitate exchange of opinions and sharing of experiences of different organizations and their leaders. The RSS top leaders made assessment of the January 3 Shivshakti Sangam held at Pune and prepared the agenda of the two-day coordination meeting, Dr Vaidya said.

The RSS Prachar PRamukh said that agenda for the March 11-13, 2016 Pratinidhi Sabha meeting to be held at Nagaur in Rajasthan will be finalised in this meeting. Giving a detail information about Shivshakti Sangam in Pune he said that the event was attended by 80,500 swayamsevkas from 3600 villages of 92 circles in full uniform. Besides, 15000 special invitees and 60000 citizens also participated in the program.
