Tokyo, October 12: Agriculture sector is on the high edge of the development in the recent days. To back this development, new unmanned helicopter named FAZER R was announced by leading company Yamaha Motor Co. Ltd specially designed for the agricultural sector. This new device will be on sale from November 2016 and is commonly called as drone.
This new drone will prove to be a helping hand to the agriculture sector, having ability to spray chemicals over four hectares of land without the need to reload or refuel. It can also carry a load of 32 liters of spray allowing significant increases in efficiency and labor saving for agricultural spraying. FAZER-R also dons the title of the ‘largest ever’ in Yamaha Motor's range of industrial-use unmanned helicopters.
There are unique specifications off this agriculture-friendly drone. The current drone model is fitted with horizontally-opposed 2-cylinder fuel-injected engine. It has 3D wing-shaped tail rotor design based on technical guidance from JAXA (Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency). FAZER R will be exhibited at the Japan International Aerospace Exhibition 2016, being held at Tokyo Big Sight arranged from 12- 15 October.
