Riyadh, October 19:  Prince Turki bin Saud bin Turki bin Saud Al-Kabeer was executed on Tuesday in Riyadh for murder an Interior ministry statement said. The court found him guilty for murdering Adel bin Suleiman bin Abdulkareem Al-Muhaimeed, a fellow Saudi citizen.
According to Interior ministry statement, the prince shot to death Al-Muhaimeed during a mass brawl. The ministry said security officers arrested the Kabeer and after a series of detailed investigations charged him with murder.

The case was referred to the General Court, which convicted him of the charges brought against him and sentenced him to death. The Court of Appeals supported the ruling and the Supreme Court, and a royal decree was issued to carry out the ruling.

Though how the prince was killed is not reveal it is said that most people executed in the kingdom are beheaded with a sword. The victim’s family has refused offers of ‘blood money’ and demanded justice be carried out.

Saudi Arabia has a strict Islamic legal code under which murder, drug trafficking, armed robbery, rape and apostasy are all punishable by death. The penalty confirms the keenness of the government to ensure security, justice and safety for all.
