Hyderabad (Bhagyanagar), Oct 20: The three-day meeting of the Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh (RSS) Akhil Bhartiya Karyakari Mandal (ABKM) – the highest policy formulating and decision-making body of the RSS- will be held at Hyderabad or Bhagyanagar in Telangana.

The three-day meet will be housed in Sri Vidya Vihar High School at Annojiguda, near Ghatkeswar in Hyderabad, a release said.

Saranghchalak Dr Mohanrao Bhagwat, Sarkaryawah Suresh alias Bhayyaji Joshi, together will chair the three-day deliberations of the top functionaries of RSS and sponsored organizations.

Prominent leaders from Bharatiya Kisan Sangh, working for the farmers; Vanavasi Kalyan Ashram, a tribal welfare organization; Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad, one of the biggest student organization of the country; Bharatiya Mazdoor Sangh, a leading trade union; Vishwa Hindu Parishad, a forum of sadhus, sants and pontiffs; Swadeshi Jagarana Manch, and Bharatiya Janata Party, are attending the meeting.

Office bearers of Vidhya Bharati, Vijnana Bharati, Kreeda Bharati, Seva Bharati, Samskrit Bharati, Samskar Bharati, Laghu Udyog Bharati as well as leaders from Rashtra Sevika Samithi, Deendayal Samshodhan Samsthan, Bharat Vikas Parishad, Shaikshanika Mahasangh, Dharmajagaran will be participating in the conclave.

Reports of activities of all these organizations will be submitted in the meeting. State-wise activities of the RSS will be reviewed. Important national issues will be discussed and necessary resolutions will be passed in the meeting.

The Sanghachalak, Karyavah, and Pracharak (Organizing secretary) heading each Prant  units of RSS from all over India will take part in this ABKM that meets twice every year. Other than these state functionaries, the 400 participants will include prominent selected activists from social organizations working in different walks of life in the society.

Last year in 2015, ABKM meet was held at Ranchi.
