Indore, Oct 9 : With the partnership  of Virat Kohli (211) and Ajinkya Rahane (188) team India has successfully managed the score of 557/5 in the second day  of Indore test .

Virat Kohli and Ajinkya Rahane broke the records on second day in Indore. The India captain scored his second double century in Test cricket, the vice-captain scored 188 runs they shared one of India’s highest partnerships in Tests and help their team declare for 557/5 in Indore. 

Virat Kohli struck his second double century in tests and became the first Test captain from India to achieve this landmark. Kohli was dismissed by Jeetan Patel  and Ajinkya Rahane  was trapped by a wide ball from Boult and was caught behind. Rohit Sharma scored his fifth half-century of the series before Kohli decided to declare.

New Zealand could manage the score of 28 without the loss of any wicket.  India, who has already won the three-match series in Kolkata is looking forward to grab the test series with a complete a whitewash. New Zealand is trailing India by 529 runs in first innings.
