Lima (Peru), November 21: The Russian President Vladimir Putin and U.S. President-elect Donald Trump have expressed their inclination to darn the Russian-American relations to each other. Putin confirmed this saying, "The President-elect confirmed he is willing to normalize Russian-American relations. I told him the same. We did not discuss where and when we would meet."
Though the willingness to patch has been expressed no concrete date for a meeting between the leaders has been chosen yet. Putin also told that Washington and Moscow have agreed to arrange a meeting of representatives.
Putin congratulated Trump on his victory and both agreed the need to maintain relations based on equality, mutual respect and non-interference in the other’s internal affairs. Putin while addressing a news conference in Lima after the APEC summit informed that Russia is ready to freeze oil output at current levels.
Putin told that he thanked Obama during the summit for the joint work they have been doing these years, he said, “"I told him that we would be happy to see him in Russia anytime if he wants, can and has desire."
The first Trump-Putin meeting will be focusing on molding international relations. Earlier, Trump praised Russia’s unpredictable dictator-cum-president. Putin’s relation with Obama was stifling and so his meeting with Trump and further output of the meet are surely the center of attraction for all.
