Islamabad, November 3: Pakistan Supreme Court has formed a committee comprising one official to investigate Panama paper leak case. Though the Supreme Court believes the issue to be investigated should be allotted to SC Judge, appointing one person for the probing is humorous.
The decision was made by Pakistan’ five-judge Supreme Court bench headed by Chief Justice Anwar Zaheer Jamali, based on the allegations made on Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif and his family members. This action came after detailed case papers and evidences were evaluated by the bench.
Notably this decision was taken during the hearing of Tahreek-e-Insaaf politician Imraan Khan’s case. Both the parties were well informed about revealing the issues to be considered under investigation. It was after this that Khan reversed his 2nd November lockdown of Islamabad appeal.
Khan also tweeted appreciating Supreme Court’s decision of appointing one individual to investigate the Panama paper. He made allegation on PM Nawaz Sharif claiming that the issues relating to Nawaz Sharif are purposely being delayed and that the details and evidence provided by Nawaz are said to be Fake by Supreme Court.
