New Delhi, Dec 14: The Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) on Wednesday ridiculed the Congress Vice-President Rahul Gandhi for his hilarious claim that he had ‘information on personal corruption’ of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.

Rahul Gandhi on Wednesday declared that he was not allowed to speak in the Lok Sabha as the Prime Minister ‘is personally terrified with the information I have’. “It is the personal corruption of the Prime Minister that we have detailed information, but I am not being allowed to speak in the Parliament”, the Congress Vice-President said.

However, he refused ti divulge the details of the information insisting that he would only speak in the Parliament on this matter. “I have been elected by the people of India, by the people of Amethi, and the right place for me to speak on such issues in the House,” he argued.

Reacting sharply to ‘Pappu’s comments, the BJP said that his comments were ‘not worthy of response’. However, BJP spokesperson GVL Narasimha Rao said that “Rahul Gandhi is making a joke of himself, his party is responsible for blocking parliament,” and “Rahul Gandhi’s political value is deteriorating and his comical value is increasing.”

On the last Friday, Gandhi had said that his party wanted a debate on demonetization in the Parliament but the government was running away from it.

The Congress leader had said that when he gets a chance to speak about demonetization in the House, “the Prime Minister will not be able to even sit there... Demonetization is the biggest scam in the history of India... I want to speak in Lok Sabha. I will tell everything there.”
