Mumbai, December 21: Sonu Nigam at a press conference of "Indian Idol" on Tuesday night said that as the time passes, everything changes and therefore music too has changed but there is nothing wrong in it. He further said that the people of different generation have different ideas and accordingly music also change.
He further said that people tend to glorify the past and criticise the music of the present generation. But he believes that good and bad content in music always exists in every era. In recent times, a lot of songs have been recreated in India. But Nigam says there is "enough original content" as well.
He added, "The music business has changed. Doing remixes is a part of business. If they own an old song and they want the new generation to reconnect with that through its remix version, it is okay." The "Kal Ho Na Ho" singer feels every generation tries to imbibe something from their previous generation and add their own touch in music.
Like to tell you that, musical reality show Indian Idol is back once again and this time the talent show brings back the trio of original judges, Sonu Nigam, Farah Khan and Anu Malik. The three once again reunite on the platform after a gap of 12 years.
