New Delhi, Dec 25: The birthday of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee is being observed as Good Governance Dat all over the country. Vajpayee turned 92 today.
The Good Governance Campaign is launched today to continue for 100 days starting today.
During the campaign, the Union Ministers and MPs will travel across the country and participate in programs highlighting the key initiatives taken by the Modi government.
The endeavour of the government is to improve delivery systems to promote digital transformation and take forward the connectivity revolution in all sectors.
On the occasion, Minister of State for Personnel Dr Jitendra Singh launched six major initiatives of his ministry at a function in New Delhi.
The initiatives are Recruitment Rules Formation, Amendment Monitoring System, Immovable Property Return through Property Related Information System, the announcement of E-Service Book, Mandatory online filing of APAR by all All India Services and Central Group A Service Officers, EO App on iPhone Operating System and launching of redesigned website of Department of Personnel and Training.
