New Delhi, December 27: Few hours after BSP supremo alleged BJP for Dalit discrimination and asking for its accounts to disclose, BJP on Tuesday slammed Mayawati by saying that it will give all the details of accounts to Election Commission. Like to tell you that Law & Justice, Information Technology Minister of India, Ravi Shankar Prasad in a press conference firstly condemned on the allegations made by Mayawati.
Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad further said that it was a routine exercise done by ED and not politically influenced. He questioned Mayawati that if she is not wrong then why she is so worried and reacting in such manner.
Taking on dalit criticism, Ravi Shankar Prasad said that by taking the names of dalit Mayawati is actually trying to hide the corruption. He further said that the statement given by Mayawati is very irresponsible. Minister further stated very clearly that the law will take its own course of action but raising questions or commenting against PM Modi or BJP’S President is not acceptable.
Minister Prasad further added that Mayawati’s allegations are only politically influenced and motivated. Taking on AAP, he said that even Anna Hazare has publicly demanded that Aam Aadmi Party should disclose its funding.
Notably, The Enforcement Directorate on Monday exposed the corruption of Bahujan Samajwadi Party by detecting the cash totalling over Rs 104 crore in its own account of United Bank of India in New Delhi branch. ED in its investigation has also detected that Rs.1.43 crore have been deposited in the account of Anand, brother of BSP supremo Mayawati.
After this incident, Mayawati accused BJP and central government that it is a politically motivated move. She also said that BJP is not happy for the good work she has done for dalits.
