New Delhi, Dec 29: Hitting hard at Congress party over the remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi and BJP chief Amit Shah, BJP has warned Congress of legal action over its "baseless and untrue" allegations.
Refuting the charges levelled by congress Union Minister Ravi Shankar Prasad said that Prime Minister and Party chief have noting do with the case of Gujarat businessman Mahesh Shah.
Rejecting the charge against Amit Shah, who is one of the directors in a Gujarat bank in which deposits of over Rs 500 crore were made Prasad asserted that the bank has over 200 branches and it will give explanation about the matter said minister.
"We want to make it clear that our Prime Minister and party president have no links whatsoever with the person by the name of Mahesh Shah Shah, against whom action is going on. If Congress has any proof, it should talk about it.
On Congress party's 132nd foundation day Congress vice president Rahul Gandhi had launched direct attack on PM Modi and BJP president Amit Shah on the issue of demonetization and Gujarat businessman Mahesh Shah.
Launching a sarcastic attack on Congress party Union minister said that INC party leaders and spokespersons are behaving like "children" and today's Congress does not represent even a grain of its 132 year's heritage.
"Congress is the biggest patron of the corrupt and corruption. If it thinks that its attack will have any impact on the government, it is wrong. The government will remain unfazed and continue to act against black money and corruption," he said.
Launching direct attack on Congress chief Sonia Gandhi minister said,"I want to ask Congress chief Sonia Gandhi if the childish behaviour of her son and more childish conduct of its spokespersons is being done at her behest". On this occasion Power Minister Piyush Goyal was present during press briefing.
