Pakistani national moving suspiciously on Indian side of LoC, arrested by Indian army

Jammu, December 6: Indian army on Monday arrested a 40 year old Pakistani National near Line of Control in border district of Poonch in Jammu and Kashmir. As he is arrested now army official as well as intelligence officials are already interrogating him and ones the interrogation is done he will be hand over to the local police authorities.
Ministry of Defence issued a statement that, the Pakistani national was seen moving suspiciously on the Indian side of LoC when he was arrested by the Indian army. According to the sources, Indian officials are confirming about his role, whether he was sent to J&K on any “mission” by the Pakistani troops. “He would also be questioned about recent militant attacks in Jammu including an attack on army camp at Nagrota”.

On the other hand army official said that the Pakistani national suffered minor injuries when he was arrested. After his arrest he was given first aid by Indian army. Interestingly, few days before the Border Security Force (BSF) personnel foiled an infiltration bid along the International Border and shot down a suspicious Pakistani national in RS Pura Sector of Jammu district, after he crossed the border.

Meanwhile, army has launched probe into last week’s terrorist attack on one of their heavily guarded camps at Nagrota, Jammu, just three kms away from army’s 16 Corps Headquarters. In this attack 7 Indian soldiers were martyred. Three militants were also killed in the gunfight. The investigation is still on and security personnel are investigation all angles including whether the terrorists got any inside help.
