London, July 28: RSS Sarsanghchalak Dr. Mohanrao Bhagwat will be at Hertfordshire County Showground near Luton on the outskirts of London for the Mahashibir (mega camp), being held from July 29 to 31, which will mark the commencement of the year-long golden jubilee celebrations of the HSS.

Dr. Bhagwat, who arrived here with RSS Sah-Sarkaryawah Dattatreya Hosabale, will live in a tent at the sprawling Hertfordshire County Show Ground near Luton. He will then move to London for several engagements during his week-long stay. The event, called “Sanskriti: Mahashibir 2016”, marks 50 years of the Hindu Swayamsevak Sangh (HSS) which was established in 1966.

The top functionaries of RSS and HSS working in various areas across the globe will be participating in 3-day camp. On 29th July, Dr. Bhagwat will address the gathering.

The open air venue in the countryside has been transformed into a township made of tents, with more than 400 tents, infrastructure built from scratch and amenities required during the three days said officials of HSS. They have taken care to maintain an eco-friendly environment.

The organisers expect over 2,200 volunteers from across the UK and other European nations to participate in the event, and they will have a busy schedule for three days with various physical activities, group discussion, and intellectual talks on various topics.
