Itanagar, August 1: To enable people’s participation in governance system, Arunachal Pradesh Chief Minister Pema Khandu on Saturday launched the IT-enabled Survey Management System at his office premises in presence of Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein.Expressing happiness on launching the project, the Chief Minister exuded hope that the people will actively participate in the survey in large numbers. Deputy Chief Minister Mein opined that the people’s participation in this online survey management system would keep the govt alert.
CM Khandu from day one was advocating for an IT-driven system of governance. Taking forward his commitment to the people, he said the GoAP is introducing the survey management system which will allow people to participate in online survey on various developmental issues of the State.
The first survey deals with 3 main issues faced by the citizens of Itanagar-Naharlagun, viz. traffic problems, garbage disposal and road conditions. Framing 11 questions within a light web-frame, this poll is the first step of the Chief Minister’s IT-driven governance which offers the citizens of Arunachal to take part in the governing process.
Since the system is a web based tool and responsive for multiple device compatibility, the system can be accessed via a link through any mobile device or computer having internet connection. This system is completely anonymous and secure.
