New Delhi, Aug 11 : BJP is all set to shift its headquarters from 11 Ashoka Road  to  Deendayal  Marg .The stone laying ceremony of the new building will be held on August 18 in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and the party chief Amit Shah.

The new office will take over two years to be built and be equipped with modern technological facilities to link the headquarters with the party units in states and districts.

It will be spread across two acres and bigger than the current office at Ashoka Road. The building plan for the new complex, reviewed and approved by the party chief him self, includes a variety of ‘smart building’ features.

The new office building will have 70 rooms powered with WiFi and all latest  digital gadgets. The new office will have two large conference halls and a digital library connected to each party office in state capitals and district headquarters. There will be several eateries for party functionaries and visitors.

It will also be adaptable in catering to the Z+ security for the Prime Minister and other cabinet ministers.  It will also have separate offices for the Party president and other senior officials.
