Hyderabad, Aug29 : Mega Online store Amazon.in today announced the launch of a dedicated online Telugu book store with a wide range of over 10,000 Telugu titles.
“With the launch of the Telegu store, we have a total of 8 dedicated book stores to cater to our customers’ requirements,” Amazon India Director Category Management Noor Patel said. “We have witnessed a phenomenal response to our dedicated language stores, since we started launching these stores last year,” he added.
This online platform will provide the collection of Telugu books ranging from classics, literature, fiction, biographies, business and finance, self-help, cook books and children’s books. Amazon will provide excellent delivery support at the customer's doorstep said in a company release.
The Telugu books store has been planned in order to help customers find and select books easily by classifying them according to titles, publishing houses, genres or hardcovers, paperbacks and board books.
Books by acclaimed authors like B. V. Pattabhi Ram, Ranganayakamma, Yaddanapoodi Sulochana Rani, Malladi Venkata Krishnamurthy, Yendamuri Veerendranath amongst others from leading publishers such as Emmesco Books, Visalandhra Publishing House and Navachethana Publishing House.
Telugu classics such as Maha Prasthanam, Srimad Ramayanam, Naa Ishtam, Kautilya’s Arthashastra, Vennello Adapilla and Sougandhi are few of the many featured books in the store.
Telugu will be the eighth dedicated language book store on Amazon India. Currently Amazon India caters to Hindi, Tamil, Kannada, Marathi, Malayalam, Gujarati and Bengali languages. Amazon also recently launched its Prime service in India, allowing users to get free shipping for any order.
