Lucknow, Aug 29: The ideology of Hindutva is the most positive thought that propagates love, faith and a sense of belonging in the society. It is the only thought that does not profess hatred, animosity, and malice towards anyone in the entire universe said Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh Chief Dr Mohan Bhagwat.

He was addressing a congregation of RSS swayamsewaks at Saraswati Shishu Mandir here on Sunday. His remarks assume significance against the backdrop of several non-BJP parties alleging that RSS had a communal agenda and was anti-Muslim.

Bhagwat said, “We work for the country. It is not about ritualism. It is based on spiritualism and truth.” He, however, said, “…but remaining weak is also not Hinduism.

Hindus should be made prosperous. Not bigotry, but a society where there is warmth for all is needed.” Bhagwat said, “Society is our God. We are here to serve the society. We should not think what we will get in return. We are working for all round development of Hindu nation. But there should be no arrogance that we are working for that.” He said no work should be done in reaction to something.

Stating that the Mahabharata war was fought for reinstating the Dharma, Lord Ram and Lord Krishna’s each and every action was aimed at restoration of Dharma, Bhagwat said urging everyone to work with a positive attitude.

The RSS chief said that swayamsewaks would do whatever is required for Hindu ‘dharma’, culture and society. He said Sangh is an organisation of Hindu society.

“Nothing else is required to take ‘Bharat’ to the peak of glory than maintaining unity and integrity of the country. We are working for the praise of Bharat Mata everywhere, but there should be no impurity of thoughts,” he said.
