Bhopal, Sept 22: Betul in Madhya Pradesh is all set to host the historic massive Hindu congregation on February 8 next year. Preparations for this historic event are going on under the banner of Hindu Sammelan Ayojan Samiti.
The preparatory meeting held for this event was attended by over 2000 people from various castes, religious sects and social workers. The massive response of workers to this preparatory meeting indicated the massive scope of the sammelan.
Addressing the meeting RSS Prant Karyawah Hemant Muktibodh said that the sammelan is being organised to rid the Hindu society of various outdated customs and instil a feeling of harmony and respect for womanhood, awareness for the environment, water conservation, tree plantation etc. This is the objective of this sammelan.
He said that it is necessary to imbibe social harmony and homogeneity in the society. Our country has the tradition of respecting womanhood. This conference will unfold best civic values, best thoughts and self-realisation.
For the successful organisation of this event, the entire Betul district is divided into 40 blocks. Gendulal Baraskar, famous personality of Korku Samaj and retired headmaster is the president of the committee while Budhpal Singh is secretary of the committee.
This meeting was attended by local Member of Parliament, MLAs, representatives of Shri Hans Kiriti Ashram, Patanjali, Gayatri Parivar, Maharashtra Mahila Mandal, Red cross, Brahman Samaj, Kirad Samaj, Lions Club, Saai Sewa Samiti, Art of Living, Brahma Kumari, Kalchuri Samaj, Adivasi Samaj, Sahu Samaj, Kumhar samaj, Radha Swami Satsang, Kunbi samaj, Rajput, Agrawal, Sen, Kahar, Manjhi, Kurmi, Panwar, Raidas, Swarnakar, Yadav, Mali, Badhai, Valmiki, Jain, Sikhm Rajak, Lohar, Panjabi, Khandelwal, Mahar, Bhargav samaj and RSS sponsored organisations.
