New Delhi, Sept 29:  Prime Minister Narendra Modi, today unveiled the Roll On Trophy for BRICS U-17 Football Tournament, The BRICS U-17 Football. Tournament will be held in Goa from October 5 to October 15.

Speaking on the occasion Prime Minister reiterated that India is commitment for ‘Sports for All’ and ‘Khelo India’ initiative. “We will taking football to every corner of the country”, he added.

He emphasised that the youth being the leaders of the future, their shared understanding and bonhomie is an imperative to ensure that the BRICS Summit continues to receive the impetus it deserves.

Wishing the Tournament grand success, the Prime Minister said that he was confident that BRICS U-17 Football Tournament will meet its objective of facilitating greater understanding and friendship amongst all participants.

In his introductory address, Minister for Youth Affairs and Sports (Vijay Goel, said that the Trophy symbolises the free and enterprising spirit of youth and strength and commitment of the BRICS nations towards solidarity in their global endeavours.

The Tournament aims at taking the ongoing interaction and cohesion amongst the BRICS nations to a new level of exchange between the youth of these countries in the field of sports
