New Delhi / Kanyakumari, Jan 13: Adding yet another feather in the cap of Vivekanand Kendra and Kanyakumari Prime Minister Narendra Modi inaugurated the Ramayana Darshanam Exhibition through video conferencing.
Speaking on the occasion Modi said that 12th January is no ordinary day, and Swami Vivekananda's powerful thoughts will continue to shape several minds. He urged youths of the country to follow the path given by Swami Vivekananda for building spiritual and material strength.
Calling himself a member of Vivekananda Kendra Modi said, “I am no guest but am a part of this family. I am one of your own.” Reiterating his association with the Vivekanand Kendra Modi stated that he would have loved to be part of inaugural session.
Naming Swami Vivekananda as a source of inspiration Prime Minister said that the thoughts of Swami Vivekananda will always inspire the youth towards nation building. He also paid homage to Saint Thiruvalluvar and Founder of Vivekanand Kendra Eknath Ranade.
On this occasion Union minister Pon Radhakrishnan, President of the Vivekananda Kendra P Parmeshvaran, Vice President of the Vivekananda Kendra Nivedita Bhide, Morari Bapu, Swami Ji of the Vivekananda Ashram Chaitanyanand and National office bearers of Kendra Mr Balakrishna , Mr Bhanudas Dhakras were present.
