Tirupati, Jan 2: After a long span of 30 years Tirupati to spectre the 104 th Indian Science Congress where Prime Minister Narendra Modi will inaugurate the function. The five-day conference is being organised at the Sri Venkateswara University.
Speaking to the media Prof D Narayana Rao, who is General President of Indian Science Congress Association, said that this year’s conference would deliberate on the theme of 'Science and Technology for National Development'.
Briefing about the details of programme official said that after the inaugural address, PM Modi would hold a brief conference with about 50 people, including the Nobel laureates, eminent Indian scientists, other dignitaries and top officials.
Later Prime Minster Modi is schedule to visit at the Lord Venkateswara shrine. On this occasion Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu and Governor ESL Narasimhan would remain present. The security has been beefed up on the eve of Prime Minister's visit in the state.
